Screened Bottom with Insert (IPM)- wood
This Screened Bottom Board with Insert ( IPM) and entrance reducer are made of solid pine and has a screened center area to allow ventilation within the hive during heated temperatures. It also includes a plastic insert to be used with oil when checking for Varroa Mites. When you are not checking for Varroa Mites it is recommended to remove the insert unless there is a cold temperature drop in your area. Highly recommend to prime and paint or to apply a wood preservative for longevity on your product.
